For over 65 years the Hearing Health Foundation has been raising awareness about, and funding research to prevent, hearing loss, hyperacusis, tinnitus and related conditions.
The Heariing Health Magazine Summer 2025 issue is entirely devoted to Hyperacusis and Tinnitus. It includes articles on many aspects from diagnosis, management, awareness, research, education, advocacy, patient stories and research. Some are written by my colleagues Dr. Kelly Jahn, AuD., Ph.D., Jerod J.D. Rider, Dr. James Henry, Ph.D. and Dr. Megan Beers Wood, Ph. D. It was an honor to have my article, “Hyperacusis and Tinnitus are ADA Disabilities,” included in this informative issue that is an invaluable resource.
Thanks to HHF and all the authors for their tireless work to improve hearing health, create safer environments, spearhead research, prevent injuries and help those with a wide variety of hearing conditions.
